Welcome !

I would like to welcome you to our Cub Pack 167's Web Site. As you can see there is a tremendous amount of information provided so please use this site as your first stop in trying to answer questions about our Pack. Pack 167 was founded in 1956 and we are currently the largest Pack in the Sycamore District. Right now we have about 90 Cub Scouts from Lake in the Hills and Huntley. Due to our growth over the past 8 years we have split into 2 sister Packs - #267 and #467. Any boys interested in scouting can start as early as the end of their kindergarten year all the way thru 5th grade so we welcome all newcomers!

Blue and Gold cake bake info

Posted by admin on Jan 27 2015 - 11:35am

The cake bake is open to all Cub Scouts (one per boy).  This is a son/parent activity and they will be judged by the audience.  Tickets will be sold and counted at the event to determine the winning cakes.  Winners will receive an award certificate.  Tickets are 2 for $1 or 12 for $5.  You must bring and submit your cake by 11:55, no exceptions.  All decorations on cake must be edible and a list of ingredients must accompany it.  After the awards are presented we will be pulling tickets to determine the winners of the cakes.  You are not guaranteed to win your cake so if you want it back make sure to vote for it often!!

Over the past few years, we have begun a tradition of creating an abbreviated yearbook in connection with our Blue and Gold Banquet that takes place in February. In addition to outlining the agenda for our banquet, we also insert a one page bio and photo for each den, as well as provide parents the opportunity to purchase a full page, 1/2 page or 1/4 page 'ad' to recognize their scout, den, or leaders on a job well done this scout year.

The pricing is as follows:
